Dressing pads are made from highly absorbent cotton and are non-adherent. All the edges of these pads are sealed and are highly absorbent.
These pads are designed in such a way so that they can stay in direct contact with the wound for a longer period and promote faster healing. Nowadays numerous dressings are self-adhesive.
