Adhesive Bandage

Adhesive Bandage is something made of a woven fabric, elastic in the warp, which has been spread evenly with an adhesive mass, which does not offset when the bandage is unrolled. It is used to give support to the joint structures which reduce the movement. The warp threads consist of two-fold cotton threads crepe twisted and welt threads are of cotton/viscose/both mixed.

The fabric is clean and reasonably free from weaving defects and other impurities. It comes in continuous length without any cuts or without joints and has fast edges.

2. Is the adhesive bandage 4 metres or 1 metre? What does 4/6m mean?

The length is 4/6 meters or approx 670 cms and is 10 cms wide.

3. So Adhesive bandage is similar to a plaster? the white side is with a self-sticking layer of glue?

All you need is to remove a thin white transparent sheet to stick on.

4. Is it self adhering and reusable?

It is adhesive so obviously self-adhering. Sticking can’t be reused so it’s not reusable

5. Do adhesive bandages expire?

Dressings and bandages can be sterile or non-sterile. Sterile products usually do not expire as long as they are sealed and undamaged.

6. How long should you keep a bandaid on?

Consult your doctor about the duration to keep your wound dry. Sometimes, the bandage is allowed to remove after 24 to 48 hours, and the wound can then be gently washed to remove the crust.

7. Do bandaids help heal faster?

It is a myth that drying out a wound by exposing it to the air and allowing to scab over will cause faster healing just will not go away!
